The PPQG Quilt Showcase and Boutique event is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It is held each September, during the Labor Day weekend, at the same time as the annual Commonwheel Art Festival in Manitou Springs, CO.   We hold two types of sales:  (1) Silent Auction of large hand-made quilts, and (2) direct sales of smaller quilts and handiwork in our Boutique area. It takes a village to make this a successful event!

You can help in several essential ways:

• Make a hand-made quilt from a kit made up for you (available at monthly meeting Fundraising table) or one of your own design. You can complete top, then hand off to others for quilting and binding, or finish it all yourself. For each contributed item, you will need a donation form so we can track the inventory and status of sale items.

• Make and donate hand-made quilts, wall hangings, table runners, market bags, stuffed toys and many other items which are sold at the Manitou event. 

• We also need volunteers to work the Manitou event and help with sales, organization, set-up, or any of the many event tasks that needs done.

​Join us for workdays on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 9:00am - 3:00pm at Fire Station #20, Colorado Springs (near corner of Dublin and Rangewood). Come for the entire day or come and go as you need. Bring your machine and sewing gear, or if that isn't possible--just yourself.  There will be plenty for you to do to help!
